Ever wondered how you can send emails from your own address instead of a generic one? That's where SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings come in handy! By setting up SMTP, you'll be able to send emails using your preferred email service provider, which is great for your brand's credibility and keeps your communications looking consistent.

Why Set Up SMTP?

  • Makes your brand look more professional by sending emails from your domain.

  • Improves your email deliverability by relying on a trusted provider.

  • Gives you control over your email communications and keeps your brand consistent.

How to Set Up SMTP

Locate your SMTP settings

The SMTP settings are located in the settings section under the Team Settings.

Find Your SMTP Server Info

Look up the SMTP server name and port number for your email provider. Here's a quick list for popular providers:

  • Gmail: smtp.gmail.com (Port: 465 or 587)

  • Outlook/Hotmail: smtp.office365.com (Port: 587)

  • Yahoo: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Port: 465 or 587)

Add Your Email Account Credentials

Enter your username and password for the email account you want to use for SMTP.

Enter Your SMTP Details

Next use the server info you found earlier. Under host add the server name and under port add the port number.

Save Settings and Test

Once you save your settings, fire off a test email to make sure everything's working as it should.

Now you're all set to send emails from your own email address, helping your brand look more professional and stand out in your communications.
