If you have a domain registered with GoDaddy and want to set it up with Delenta, follow these steps to update your DNS settings:

Add a CNAME Record for Your Custom Domain

1. Log in to Your Domain Host:

  • Access your GoDaddy account at GoDaddy.

  • Enter your login credentials to access your account dashboard.

2. Navigate to DNS Management:

In your GoDaddy dashboard, find the domain you want to configure and click on it.

Look for the DNS or Manage DNS option to access the DNS management page.

Option 1 - CNAME Record for Your Main Domain

If you want to point your top-level domain (like yourdomain.com) to Delenta, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to GoDaddy: Access your GoDaddy account and open the DNS settings for your domain.

  2. Locate the www CNAME Record:

    • By default, most GoDaddy domains come with a www CNAME record.

    • You won’t need to create a new www CNAME record if it’s already there. Instead, you’ll simply update it.

  3. Edit the CNAME Record:

    • Find the www CNAME record in your DNS settings and select Edit.

    • Update the Points to field to domains.delenta.com

    • Save the changes of the CNAME record.

Note that it might take some time for the changes to propagate across the internet.

Option 2 - Set Up a Subdomain

If you prefer to create a custom subdomain (e.g., coach.yourdomain.com or portal.yourdomain.com) for your Delenta portal, follow these steps:

  1. Add a New CNAME Record:

    • Go to the DNS settings of your GoDaddy domain.

    • Click on Add to create a new DNS record.

  2. Configure the CNAME Record:

    • For Type, choose CNAME.

    • In the Name field, enter your desired subdomain (for example, coach or portal).

    • In the Points to field, enter domains.delenta.com

    • Save the changes.
