This guide is for independent coaches and multi-coach organizations using Delenta who conduct their client sessions via Microsoft Teams and want to capture automated meeting transcripts.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Launch Your Session from Delenta
Navigate to your Sessions in Delenta.
Find your upcoming Microsoft Teams meeting and click Start Session.
A prompt will appear reminding you to turn on Transcripts on your conference tool in order to enable AI note taking.
Step 2: Join the Teams Meeting
Your browser will open the Microsoft Teams portal.
Choose whether to Continue on this browser or Join on the Teams app (if you have it installed).
Grant Teams permission to use your microphone and camera if prompted, then click Join now.
Step 3: Start the Live Transcription
Once inside the meeting, look at the top control bar and click the More icon (represented by three dots
...).From the dropdown menu, hover over Record and transcribe.
Click Start transcription.
A pop-up will ask you to confirm the language spoken (e.g., English UK or English US). Click Confirm.
š” Note: A notification will briefly appear stating "Transcription has started". It is best practice to let your clients know that the session is being transcribed for coaching record purposes.
Step 4: Monitor the Live Transcript
As you and your client speak, you will see a real-time Transcript panel open on the right-hand side of the screen. This panel displays the speaker's name alongside a time-stamped text rollout of the conversation

Step 5: Access the Transcript After the Meeting
When your session is finished, click Leave to hang up the call.
Teams will direct you back to the meeting's chat and history overview page.
Click on View Recap.
Under the meeting details, you will see a Content section. Click on the Transcript button to open, review, or download the full text record of your coaching session.
This transcript will then be used by Delenta AI note taker to summarise the notes for you back on the Delenta portal .
