How to Create Deposit Payment Packages in Delenta

Written by Anji

Overview

Offering flexible payment options makes it easier for potential clients to commit to high-ticket coaching programs. With Delenta’s Deposit + Recurring Payment feature, you can collect an upfront deposit (as a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of the total price) followed by defined installment payments.

Before You Begin

  • Connect Stripe: Deposit and payment plan structures are powered by Stripe. Ensure your Stripe account is connected under Integrations > Payments in your Delenta account before creating deposit packages.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Start Package Creation

  1. Navigate to Packages on the left-hand menu.

  2. Click + Create and select Package.

  3. Enter your Package Title (e.g., 6-Month Leadership Intensive) and Description.

  4. Set up your Sessions (select session- or hour-based, set session duration, and select your meeting location like Zoom or In-Person). Click Continue.

Step 2: Configure the Deposit & Installment Plan

  1. Under Pricing, set the package price type to Paid.

  2. Under "Do You Want a Single Payment? Or Do You Allow Multiple Payment Options?", select Multiple Payment Plans.

  3. Select Deposit + Recurring payments.

  4. Set up your Initial Deposit:

    • Choose Deposit Value and enter a fixed $ amount

  5. Set up your Recurring Payments (Installments):

    • Frequency: Choose Monthly, Weekly, or Daily.

    • Amount: Enter the per-installment amount.

    • Starts: Choose when the first installment begins:

      • Immediately: Charges the deposit and first installment on purchase day.

      • Deferred (e.g., 14 or 30 days after deposit): Delays the first installment by a set period.

    • Number of Payments: Enter the total number of installment charges.

  6. Review the live Payment Breakdown box on the right sidebar to double-check your total package cost and installment schedule.

Step 3: Complete Checkout Setup & Publish

  1. Click Continue to configure your Checkout Flow and terms/agreements.

  2. Review your package details on the Review & Share page.

  3. Click Publish.

  4. On the success modal, click Add Package Availability to link the package to your calendar schedule so clients can book their sessions.

What the Client Sees

When a client views your package checkout page, Delenta provides full transparency:

  • Pay Today: Clearly shows the upfront deposit amount required at checkout.

  • Payment Plan Breakdown: Displays the number of remaining installments, installment amounts, and exact start dates.

  • Automated Confirmation: Both you and your client receive detailed email receipts outlining the paid deposit and upcoming schedule.

Tracking Payments in CRM

To monitor ongoing installment schedules:

  1. Go to CRM in your Delenta portal and select the contact.

  2. Click the Payment History tab.

  3. View the Payment Plan Information table, which displays paid deposits, upcoming installment due dates, amounts, and remaining balance details.
