When setting up a coaching package with multiple session plans, you can choose whether clients should follow the session plans in a specific order or be allowed to book sessions from any plan freely.

This setting is available as a checkbox called "Follow session plan sequence" when editing or creating a package with more than one session plan.

What does the "Follow session plan sequence" setting do?

  • If checked: Clients must complete all sessions in the first session plan before they can access the next session plan.

  • If unchecked: Clients can book sessions from any session plan in any order. There is no enforced sequence.

This setting allows you to control how structured or flexible the booking flow is for your clients.

Where to find this setting

  1. Go to Packages from your coach portal.

  2. Edit or create a package that has at least two session plans.

  3. The checkbox "Follow session plan sequence" will appear below the session plans list.

This checkbox will not appear if your package has only one session plan, as session order is not applicable in that case.

How it works for your clients

  • If the setting is enabled (checked):
Clients will only be able to see and book sessions from the first session plan. Once all sessions in that plan are completed, the next session plan becomes available.

  • If the setting is disabled (unchecked):
Clients can view and book sessions from any of the session plans from the start, regardless of order.

This setting directly affects the session booking experience in the client portal.

Example

If a package has:

  • Session Plan 1 – 5 sessions

  • Session Plan 2 – 4 sessions

Then:

  • With the setting enabled, clients must finish all 5 sessions in Plan 1 before they can access Plan 2.

  • With the setting disabled, clients can book from either plan at any time.
