This article explains how Super Admins can invite a Report Viewer (Read-Only User) to access reports within the portal. Report Viewers have a special license that allows them to view reports but not make any changes.

Prerequisites

  • You must have an Admin License to invite Report Viewers.

  • Ensure that the user you are inviting requires only read-only access to reports.

Steps to Invite a Report Viewer

  1. Log in to the Super Admin Portal

    • Navigate to the Admin Dashboard.

  2. Go to the Team Management Section (My Coaches)

    • Select Add Users.

  3. Enter User Details

    • Input the user's email address.

    • Select Report Viewer (Read-only) user type dropdown.

  4. Send the Invitation

    • Click Send Invitation.

    • The user will receive an email to accept the invitation.

  5. User Acceptance Process

    • The invited user must accept the invitation to activate their account.

    • Once accepted, they will have read-only access to the reports.

Managing Report Viewer Permissions

  • Super Admins can enable or disable specific reports for Report Viewers.

  • This can be managed by going into the details of the invites report viewer.

FAQs

Why is my Report Viewer (Read-Only License) disabled in the dropdown when trying to invite a user to the team?

This could be because your Delenta subscription does not have the correct license type. To add more licenses, please contact support@delenta.com.

Why can't my Report Viewer users see the option to export reports to a CSV?

Read-only users do not have the option to export reports, so this functionality will not be visible in their portals.

What can a Report Viewer license be used for?

  • A Report Viewer license is for users who only need access to reports to analyze business performance.

  • They can customize data representation using filters and additional fields.

  • Report Viewers do not have navigation access to other parts of the platform.

  • They cannot edit or modify any data.

  • They do not have access to import or export functionality.

When inviting a user, be sure to select the Report Viewer (Read-Only) user type from the dropdown menu.
