As your coaching business scales, a one-size-fits-all approach to platform access no longer works. Delenta’s Roles and Permissions feature allows team administrators to create custom, bespoke roles and restrict platform access on a highly granular level.
Whether you want an accountant to only see payment details, a content creator to only manage course modules, or a coach to have strictly isolated privileges, you can completely customise permissions to protect sensitive data and streamline your operations.
1. Creating Custom Roles and Granular Permissions
Before assigning permissions to a specific team member, you must build your custom role blueprints within the main team dashboard.
On the side menu under Team Management navigate to the Roles and Permissions section.
Click Create Custom Role (or select an existing role to modify it).
Give your bespoke role a distinct, descriptive name (e.g., Financial Administrator, Contract Coach, Content Manager).
Dive into the Advanced Settings to toggle permissions on a granular level.
Set Feature Guardrails: Use the permissions matrix to explicitly dictate what a user can do across every major pillar of the platform:
Core Features: Packages, Digital Courses, and Shared Resources.
Operations & Backend: Financial Payments, Integrations, Operational Reports, and high-level Platform Insights.
Define Action Parameters: For every feature selected above, drill down to assign specific action rights:
View: Read-only access to inspect the asset.
Create: Permission to build new assets from scratch.
Update: Rights to edit or modify existing platform structures.
Delete: The highest privilege level, permitting the permanent erasure of data.
Click Save Role to commit the blueprint to your organization's repository.
2. Applying Roles to Coach Profiles
Once your bespoke roles are established, putting them to work inside your team roster takes less than a minute.
From your Team Management, navigate to the Coach Management (or Team Members) directory.
Locate the specific coach or staff member you wish to update and click Edit Profile.
Under Role Management section and select the newly created bespoke role you wish to apply to their account profile.
Click Save Role Selection. The platform will instantly apply the data guardrails, immediately restricting or expanding the coach's access the next time they sync to their dashboard.
3. Roster Filtering and Onboarding Efficiency
Delenta’s structured team framework makes long-term administration frictionless as your organization expands.
Streamlined Onboarding: When inviting new coaches or staff members to your organization, you can assign their bespoke roles right during the invitation phase, ensuring they step into a perfectly locked-down workspace from day one.
